I have a 3.5kgs mirror that I need hanging on a patio wall. All fixings included, I just don’t own a drill.

Cord hung sash window (154x97cm dimension based on inner box frame) needs replacement of side vertical beads with draft proof brush (brush worn out). The left bead is broken in two. The right is worn out so both need replacement.

Looking for a reliable and tidy handyman to hang 2x mirrors and 2x mini shelves in our nursery and also to fix a broken bathroom cupboard door. I got a lid blocking the sink’s pipe. I need to unblock it. Also, the window’s handle is locked in the wrong way and I can’t close the window anymore.

1) Door Please supply and install one internal FD30 fire door and closer. This is a new door so hinges needed plus any work to make door fit frame. See spec below and attached photos. Door must open into corridor (towards photographer) against wall on right. Door Spec: A new half-hour fire resisting door-set that meets British Standard 476, Parts 22, and 31.1 to the living room. The door to be fitted in accordance with BS 8214. Provide and fit a suitable self- closing mechanism, together with intumescent fire seals and flexible cold smoke seals. If separate intumescent and smoke seals are fitted the intumescent fire seal must be fitted to the risk side of the smoke seal. Intumescent seals may be fitted to either the door or the frame but must not be fitted within door stops. Door to frame clearances shall not exceed 3mm at the sides and head of the door and 8mm at the foot. 2) Alarms Supply and install 3 x mains powered smoke alarms and 1 x mains powered heat alarm. All interconnected via radio. Spec as below: Alarms Spec: A system complying fully with BS 5839: Parts 1 and 6 (latest editions) for a Grade D system, with LD3 coverage as follows: - Interlinked, mains-wired smoke alarms with integral battery back-up located in the escape route at each floor level - Additional interlinked heat alarm with integral battery back-up located in the kitchen - Additional interlinked smoke alarm with integral battery back-up located in any communal lounge On Completion: The installer is to provide a certificate of installation and commissioning and log book to the user in accordance with BS 5839 : Part 6. latest edition A copy of the certificate of installation and commissioning is required.
