I have a shower screen that needs adjusting as it’s ever so slightly dropped and catching on the floor, I’m unable to do it as it’s heavy. Subject: Request for Gardening and Handyman Work Hello, I’m looking for a gardener and a handyman to carry out a few small jobs at my property ahead of estate agent photos. Outside: Small patio garden (approx. 3m x 12m) needs a few hours of work. Trim the hedge. De-weed and jet wash all patio areas. De-weed and sweep the driveway upstairs. Inside: Dismantle two single metal frame beds (quick job). Assemble a flat-pack bunk bed. Carry out some minor polyfilling (around 2–3 small areas). Touch up white paint around the flat to remove any marks and make it perfect for viewings. Replace the carpet-to-laminate threshold strip with a wider one (the current carpet edge is fraying). Secure the bathroom door handle more permanently — the current screws don’t hold properly as the door is hollow. Ideally, I’d like the work done this Wednesday and Thursday, if possible. Hi I need a quote for someone to install boiler flue cover above boiler. I have bought 2 potential covers and it needs to be installed above flue on 1st floor to stop water entering flue when gutter is blocked. Just until I can get someone to unblock gutters. I have permission from next door to put ladder up on their side as my conservatory spans back of house. I am available to let someone in to complete the work every other Tuesday only.

Need a light pendant installed in the kitchen, I have attempted to do it but messed up the install so requires someone to fix the issue and attach the lamp to the ceiling. The curtain pole was pulled down by a child and came off the wall. I presume it wasn't installed in the best way so need someone that can fix that to the wall using the right plugs and if needed fix the remaining holes and use new ones for this, if can use the same holes even better.

We are experiencing significant noise leakage from our temple, which is causing complaints from neighbours. Noise Levels: - Inside the mandir: 82–110 dB - Outside on the main road: 60–70 dB - Outside the emergency exit: 70–85 dB - In the lobby (just inside the front door): 80–90 dB Problem Areas: - The fire exit at the back left of the building has a double-glazed emergency door, but a lot of sound leaks from the edges. Pressing the door reduces the noise, so the seal may be poor. - The internal double doors between the lobby and the temple are part wood, part glazed. Sound in the lobby is still very high (80–90 dB). What we need: - An expert to assess and recommend solutions to reduce sound leakage, especially from the emergency exit and the internal double doors. - Possible solutions might include upgrading to acoustic double glazing, improving door seals, or replacing doors with better soundproofed options. What to quote for: - Assessing the current doors and seals. - Recommending and potentially installing new acoustic double-glazed doors or adding secondary glazing. - Improving the seal around the emergency exit door to reduce peripheral sound leakage (e.g., using acoustic caulk, weatherstripping, or upgrading the door) Photos are attached for reference.
