Flooring Installer Needed – Self-Adhesive Herringbone Flooring Looking for an experienced flooring installer to lay self-adhesive vinyl plank flooring in a herringbone pattern, over an existing laminate/wood-look floor. I have attached a picture of the room — it's a brown floor at the moment. I have also attached a picture of the grey wood I've ordered, which is the style I want. Materials will be provided, but you need to bring your own basic tools, for example: • Utility/Stanley knife • Metal straight edge/ruler • Speed square or protractor (for angled cuts) • Tape measure • Roller Details: • Flooring type: self-adhesive vinyl planks • Pattern: herringbone • Subfloor: existing laminate/wood-look flooring, good condition • Room: medium-sized room (approx. 15–20m²) • • Experience with herringbone patterns preferred, as precise angle cuts and layout are required

Fit dry-back LVT flooring in a 4 m × 2.6 m room (10.4 m²) in N7 Holloway. I already have the LVT and suitable adhesive. The existing floor is thin lino which is firmly attached and has already been ground/smoothed down. The task is to inspect the existing surface, confirm it is suitable, plan the layout, apply the adhesive and professionally cut and fit the LVT. Please state whether any additional preparation or materials would be required. Experience fitting glue-down/dry-back LVT essential.

The wooden floor has a rust mark (probably from some metal surface in contact). Its a small area, less than 1 sqft.

Two main areas of kitchen counter are lovely Italian marble, for a kitchen installed 3 years ago. Has never been resealed since. There are various watermarks and stains that have formed, and maybe they can't be removed, but if you can polish any out and at least make sure we protect it better going forward that be so great...

I’m looking for an experienced floor sanding specialist to restore the timber floor in a small front room in my house in East London. The floor is engineered oak (I believe), and has surface scratches, scuff marks and some black marks from general wear. Before committing to the work, I’d like you to assess whether the floor has sufficient wear layer to be professionally sanded and refinished. If suitable, I’m looking for: * Light sanding of the existing floor * Filling any minor gaps if required * Professional finish with a durable matt lacquer or hardwax oil (happy to discuss the best option) * Leave the floor looking as close to new as possible The room is approximately 7.4 m² (around 2.3 m × 3.2 m).
