The laminate has already been purchased and is ready at the property. The job should include removing the existing flooring; checking, cleaning and preparing the subfloor so it is level and suitable; fitting the supplied laminate neatly throughout the kitchen; making all necessary cuts around kitchen units, appliances and doorways; fitting any required edging or trims; removing all old flooring and waste; and leaving the area clean and tidy. Please bring all required tools and any additional fitting materials. I would like the work completed as soon as possible. When making an offer, please confirm your availability and whether disposal and additional materials are included in your price.

The existing floor is thin lino which is firmly attached and has already been ground/smoothed down. The task is to inspect the existing surface, confirm it is suitable, plan the layout, apply the adhesive and professionally cut and fit the LVT. Two main areas of kitchen counter are lovely Italian marble, for a kitchen installed 3 years ago. Has never been resealed since. The floor is engineered oak (I believe), and has surface scratches, scuff marks and some black marks from general wear. Before committing to the work, I’d like you to assess whether the floor has sufficient wear layer to be professionally sanded and refinished. If suitable, I’m looking for: * Light sanding of the existing floor * Filling any minor gaps if required * Professional finish with a durable matt lacquer or hardwax oil (happy to discuss the best option) * Leave the floor looking as close to new as possible The room is approximately 7.4 m² (around 2.3 m × 3.2 m).
