I need to hang some curtains, and probably need to buy a new rod. The old rod does not look too good to me, but I would welcome an expert's opinion on that. The curtains that I want to hang are relatively heavy (8 kg or so). Thank you!

One of the curtain hook just came off

Looking for a skilled handyman for a small bedroom in Upton Park. Tasks include installing a ceiling light fixture, a light switch, one vanity mirror, one wall mirror, several wooden shelves, a clothing rail above the chest of drawers, and a curtain rod above the window. All materials are provided, and I know the desired placement. Job should take around 1–2 hours.

I need a curtain rod hung at about 300cm high.

We would like someone to come and remove an old curtain rod alongside an old sheer curtain runner from our dining room. We would also like a new Dunelm rod installed in its place. Any holes or wall damage created by the removal of these two curtain runners should be patched up with filler to leave wall presentable and like new/as if untouched. (Household has no tools or step ladder)
