I’m looking for an experienced flooring specialist to remove and dispose of the existing black-and-white vinyl flooring from my kitchen and install the supplied grey laminate flooring shown in the photos. The laminate has already been purchased and is ready at the property. The job should include removing the existing flooring; checking, cleaning and preparing the subfloor so it is level and suitable; fitting the supplied laminate neatly throughout the kitchen; making all necessary cuts around kitchen units, appliances and doorways; fitting any required edging or trims; removing all old flooring and waste; and leaving the area clean and tidy. Please bring all required tools and any additional fitting materials. I would like the work completed as soon as possible. The floor is engineered oak (I believe), and has surface scratches, scuff marks and some black marks from general wear. Before committing to the work, I’d like you to assess whether the floor has sufficient wear layer to be professionally sanded and refinished.
