There is an odor coming from my sink / behind the dishwasher - I want the cause confirmed (investigated) and a solution provided.

I have some water damage to the electrics for our water pump used for 2x 25 L water tanks. Needs rewiring and checks for any further leakage. One of the rings which ensures the connector to waste pipe beneath my sink has broken. I have attended Reece and Bunnings but neither of them stock the same size pipe. The pipe is smaller than 32mm and smaller than the other standard size of 40mm. Unless you have the part (which would be smaller than 32mm), it may need an extension. Please only accept if you think you have the solution. Happy to pay for any parts. See photos for reference.
