A round/circular superficial crack has been found in my sink, and the landlord is requesting for the entire sink to be replaced. It is possible it is a cosmetic stress crack. I’m looking for a licensed plumber who can do an assessment and provide me with an official condition report stating: - Nature of the crack (cosmetic vs structural) - Whether there is any leak - Likely cause (installation stress / over-tightened waste) - Whether replacement is necessary - Quote for either replacement or fixing (depending on assessment above).
