I have three imported table lamps (two from Japan, one from Vietnam) that I’d like converted for safe use in Australia (240V). Photos and a spec sheet with translated labels are attached. Lamp 1 (Japan): Japanese plug. No bulb currently. Lamp 2 (Vietnam): European two-pin plug. 220-240V LED bulb provided. Lamp 3 (Japan): Labelled 100V. 240V bulb provided. What I need: Replace plugs with Australian-compliant ones, confirm cords and inline switches are rated for 240V (replace if not), fit bulbs, and test and tag each lamp. Please tell me before starting if any lamp can’t be made safe. Details: Licensed electrician required. Parts supplied by the electrician and itemised. Location: Naremburn, and you come to me.

Need someone handy to swap a side panel between two pool table hanging lamps at a house in Shepparton, VIC 3630. Backstory: customer got sent a replacement lamp because the first one turned up with a damaged side panel. Turns out the replacement has damage too, but on a different panel. So now there's two lamps sitting there, each missing one good panel. The job: Disassemble the old lamp enough to get the undamaged side panel off it Fit that panel onto the replacement lamp, in place of its damaged one End result should be one fully good lamp built from the good bits of both Leave the leftover damaged panels/lamp with the customer, no removal needed Tools needed are basic, screwdriver stuff, nothing major. Should be well under an hour for anyone who's done flatpack or basic assembly before.

Hi! I have an older crystal bedside table lamp that has stopped working. I’ve tested it with a known-working bulb and power outlet, so the fault appears to be within the lamp itself. The switch of this ceramic table lamp has become dodgy and the light goes off repeatedly even when turned on. As the plastic switch unit on the cord is completely sealed with no screws to open it, the whole wiring needs to be replaced. Lamp, which is in South Yarra near Toorak Rd/Chapel St corner needs to be picked up and delivered back.

The lamp requires an on-off switch on the electrical cord rather than at the base of the light bulb etc.
