There's some damage to this cornice as shown in the pic, in the middle section, as well as in the corner where it joins with the other side. The corner had previously been drilled to make a hole for some cables, but it's since been sealed with wall filler, but looks sloppy. Please propose a solution as to how to fix this, i.e, is it better to replace the 2 sides altogether, or cut out the damaged sections and replace? Open to any other solutions. The wall is cement.
