Find an experienced handyman in Mentone

I’m looking for a handyman to help with a few small jobs: 1. The timber bed frame is quite unstable and the slats keep falling off — it needs fixing. 2. The toilet roll holder is loose and spins around — it needs tightening. 3. There’s a small cabinet-style door lock I installed incorrectly that needs fixing. Thank you.

Mortise and tenon joint on 8-pane wood and glass door rotted, LH side split from door frame causing panes and supporting frames to fall out. If it could be repaired great, but it probably needs replacing in same style to suit 110 yo old house. Images available on request. Job would include remounting and aligning door, and transferring Lockwood lock to new door if necessary.

Hi Sweetie, I don't normally paint but it's easy enough to do. Usually there would be 2-3 coats (an undercoat and 1-2 final coats) with drying time for each. You would also need to apply protective tape to the surrounding area to protect it from the paint. I guess I can apply a fee of $25 per 30 minutes for the job. Obviously I won't charge you for drying time between coats, just the time I'm actually there doing the work.

Install 3 curtain rods and curtains over sliding doors 3m wide rods curtains are 2.5m long. Plaster walls internal.. Need this done before 30/01/26.Have the rods and curtains ready.. First, we need our 5.5m ceiling curtain rail installed to hold sheer/lightweight curtains with a 2.7m drop. We have the rails but you should have the ceiling fixings, hardware, ladder and tools. And help us hang curtains up after. Second, we have x4 chain roller blinds with all the fixings and screws (76x180 approx) that need affixed to window frames. Would expect you to be expert, insured and savvy about safe and secure installation of these window coverings.
