Recommend replacing as a cost effective solution. -The air conditioning unit was found running, and the house was cool while the unit was in dry operation mode. When set to cooling mode with the temperature at 24 degrees, there was no response. However, when the temperature was lowered to 20 degrees, the unit activated. Gas pressures and compressor amperage were checked, and all tested within normal parameters. It is believed that the temperature sensor may be slightly inaccurate.
