Looking for an experienced, reliable handyman to complete a variety of repair and installation tasks across our office and warehouse space. This job requires a two-step approach: an initial site visit to assess and measure the scope, followed by purchasing the necessary materials, and then completing the work. All work must be conducted between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Please see the breakdown of tasks below: Plumbing/Toilet: Fix a broken toilet flush mechanism in the kitchen area restroom. Doors: Re-hang a toilet door that has come off its hinges. Hardware: Install a self-closing unit on a glass door between the reception and warehouse. Carpentry & Painting: Repair areas where termite skirting boards were recently replaced. This requires sanding back, making good (filling/patching), and repainting to match the existing wall/skirting colour. Outdoor: Install shade cloth along an external boundary fence. Renovation: Replace the existing wooden plank balustrade on the internal office mezzanine level with new perforated fence panels. Requirements: Availability to complete work strictly between 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM. Visit the site at 8am to inspect the tasks and accurately measure up. Purchase and supply all required materials (flush parts, shade cloth, perforated panels, paint, fixing hardware) after inspection and return to complete on the same day. Bring all necessary tools, ladders, and safety equipment. Must leave the site clean and tidy. Note: Please quote your initial offer as your labour rate for the inspection and base tasks. We will reimburse the exact cost of the materials upon presentation of receipts.

The door is the old wooden style, but it could do with some refurbishment (see photos) - I don't know if that's possible, also happy without. there is a fly screen door but that can be propped open as I imagine it's easier to do the one door rather than both. 1. Plane/cut to size and attach end panel 2. Plane/cut to size and attach kick board 3. Re attach and make flush 3 x end draws (they’re fully built) 4. Attach and make flush 3 x main draws (just need the front panels attached - shelves are built and rails attached) 5. Replace 1 and flush both sets of cupboard doors (as you can see they’re attached just not perfectly flush and one had a chip so they’ve sent the replacement). Ideally someone experienced with kaboodle or similar kit set cupboards. I have some tools but ideally you’ll have all your own. Would like completed Friday July 31 after midday (start time), anytime on Saturday August 1 or Sunday morning August 2 (I have to leave at 11 so completed before then). I’ll have everything emptied from them and ready to go. Happy to help if you want a set of (fairly useless) hands.
