I’d like to lower the position of the pet door in the glass panel door. Open to suggestions, however have been advised to call in a carpenter to remove the wood panel/molding at the bottom of the door frame, slide the glass panel down to that lower position, and then use the original wood piece (cut to fit) to fill in the gap left at the top? Essentially just relocating the glass panel downward within the frame so the pet door sits closer to the ground, using the same materials that are already there

I am looking for options and costs of installing a dog door. The door is the old wooden style, but it could do with some refurbishment (see photos) - I don't know if that's possible, also happy without. there is a fly screen door but that can be propped open as I imagine it's easier to do the one door rather than both. It's for a mini sausage dog who will end up being around 7kg, so fairly small size. I am happy to reimburse for the door or purchase one and do some research on sizes. Thank you

we had old ceiling lights replaced with downlights. Now the old holes need to be repatched and painted. There are 4 in total (bedroom, dining, kitchen and small one in laundry area).
