I have a newly built house. I want to replace 3 internal doors with new solidcore doors. I will provide the doors. 2 doors are standard 2040x820 but the toilet door is 2040x 720 and that door will need to be cut down. Door handles will need to be transfered over. I'm doing this for sound proofing reasons. I will supply door seal to go around to seal the gap and I need the door as close to the floor as possible. On the toilet door I want a raven door seal kit fitted which i will provide.

Looking for a handyman/carpenter to fit a new door to an old door frame. All materials to be purchased by me need someone with the tools and know-how to install. It is an older house, built in 1978, so the door frame is not exact (see measurements). It will therefore need to be trimmed and planed a fair amount, hence we will be using a Solid Timber Pine Core (STPC) door, which will also need to use wide throw hinges (happy to re-use existing hardware) so the door can swing past the inside wall, + fitment of door hardware handle + latch assembly. My house uses cheap internal door handles that keep coming loose, probably need some thread locker applied and tightened. In addition the bathroom locks don't work, I suspect because they are not aligned.

Internal wooden door is tight in metal frame on the door lock side. It's tight to close. Need to chisel out hinge recess in door so hinges sit deeper. May need to plane a bit off the door on hinge side. 4 screws on each hinge x 2 to remove door.
