Timber Door Installation – Needed Tomorrow I’m looking for someone experienced to install a timber door at the back of my house. I already have the new timber door ready to go. Measurements: * Existing door frame: 2040mm high x 820mm wide * New timber door: 1990mm high x 810mm wide * The new door is approximately 50mm shorter and 10mm narrower than the existing opening. The job involves: * Remove the existing door (can be removed with a screwdriver) * Install/hang the new timber door * Work out the best way to pack/frame the opening to accommodate the smaller door and make it secure and neat * Install suitable hinges * Install a door handle/lock * Make sure the door is level, opens/closes properly and latches securely * Advise me on exactly what hinges, handle/lock and any timber/packing materials I need to purchase I’m happy to purchase all required materials from Bunnings once I know what’s needed. I need an experienced handyman or carpenter to supply and install a sliding door at the entrance of my master bedroom ensuite for privacy. The entrance is currently open, as shown in the attached photo, and is approximately 3 feet (90 cm) wide. I would prefer a simple, modern, good quality sliding door, preferably white, that matches the existing interior. Requirements: Inspect and measure the entrance. Recommend a suitable sliding door system, preferably wall mounted if practical. Purchase the door, sliding track and necessary fittings from Bunnings. Install the door securely and professionally. I have an old 60’s orange brick unit. The garage door frame is rotting and needs replacing. I have the door - just the frame needs replacing, and my door to be re-installed. The existing door already has a standard door handle and lock which I want to keep using. Ps: the current door swings inward, I’d like this door to swing outward.
