We are looking for a handyman / carpenter who can help us source and replace external French doors that have started to rot. We want to replace like for like. Dimensions for each panel are 410 x 2040 (half French doors). Looking for an indication of what this might cost if we can find the doors and have someone install for us.

I need a cat door installed on an internal door within my home from a hall way to a bedroom

Door and frame to fit under stairs (wall is plasterboard with timber joists, not structural). Roughly 1000mm tall on the low side, 1500mm on the high side, 800mm wide. Materials required.

Door hinge has dropped preventing door closing. Appears to be metal hinge in metal frame (ie no visible screws to tighten). Will likely need replacing. Need fixed ASAP as preventing us using room in business.

Hi, The screws on the fix plate keep coming off. If the existing one can be fixed, that would be great otherwise I was thinking to replace it with the sliding door closer as shown in picture 3.

I need: 1. A door handle changed over to a new one. The new handle will be supplied (pictured) and just requires two holes to be drilled in the correct place. 2. Two small door stops installed on the skirting board for internal doors (these will be supplied and just require a single hole to be drilled in the correct place). 3. Two clothes racks (will be supplied, see picture) to be mounted on a bathroom plaster wall (not tiles). I want to make sure this is done securely, i.e. to the studs, or whatever is the best way to do this. I also have a number of other jobs/carpentry items that I would like some advice/to be quoted on separately, like installing some shelving in a cupboard, putting a trim on some external windows and mounting some other items on the walls. The job is in CBD Melbourne. Happy to adjust the price if additional tools or time are required, as I want to make sure everything is done well.

Hi Tasker, I someone who can install a door in my backyard, you need tools to make a hole for the lock.

Looking for somebody to take off the old door handle and lock and replace it with a new one. As it is stuck. May need to check new holes in the door and in the jam. Happy to replace with the same kind of lock with expect you to buy the lock.
