Hi, I need an experienced carpenter to install a lockable door in my laundry. As shown in the photos, this door will come off the existing nib wall to create a partitioned space. We do NOT require an external-grade, weatherproofed door. We just want a lockable, exterior-style door to secure that back section. The door will be hinged from the timber post at the end of the nib wall. Your quote must cover: 1. Framing: Building a new timber door frame structure extending from the existing nib wall to the opposite wall. 2. Jamb: Installing a new timber door jamb. 3. Hanging the door: Hinging and installing the chosen door. 4. Hardware: Fitting a privacy latch or deadbolt handle that is key-lockable from the outside. 5. Finish/Trim: Installing tidy architraves/trim to cover the joints between the new frame and the existing tiled/plaster nib wall, the far block wall, and the floor. Specific considerations for your quote: Existing surfaces: You will be fixing the new frame against a painted plaster wall and a tiled wall base. This requires precise cutting of the trim to fit around the different materials neatly. Debris: Disposal of all waste material related to the build. Provided materials: I can supply the door and handles etc of its easier. Your supply: You must supply all professional tools, framing timber, fasteners, fixings, and all timber trim/architraves required for a clean finish. We have an elevated dining area that is curved and want to enclose it and make an extra room. So need two walls and a door installed and where the new walls are installed inside the new room the original circular edge of the old floor needs raising or filling.

We need someone to install a large doggy door for a Rhodesian Ridgeback to use. The security screen door is made by Coast & Hinterland Glass & Aluminium.

Replace door mechanism and install door handle. The internal lock is broken and needs replacing (the latch isn’t moving). Existing Door handle can be put back on. Lock mechanism will need to be supplied, reimbursed at cost. Thanks!
