I need someone to install a cat door in my internal access garage door.

The doggy door will need to be installed in both a timber door and then the security screen behind it as well. With the cat door, I was hoping to get your opinion on installation thoughts. How hard is it to install in glass? 2x pictures are of potential cat door positions. I’ve shown you in red the spot it would come outside as well. The windows are sliding glass windows so was also wondering if one of those sliding door cat doors would work? The other picture is of the door & security door for the doggy door (standard install but wanted to show you the door thickness as it’s pretty solid). Let me know what you think. Thanks!

The previous owners of our home had a cat door installed and we don't need it. We'd like to have it removed and the timber door to be patched up before we have painters come to paint the door on Wednesday.
