Hi, I'm looking for someone to assess and repair an existing bamboo floor at a property in Booral. The bamboo flooring is made up of very thin sections/sheets rather than modern click-lock bamboo boards. It appears to have been poorly laid, and several areas have lifted and bowed away from the subfloor. There is also damage around some of the edges/doorways. I'm not looking for a floor sanding service. I need someone experienced in flooring installation and repairs who can determine why the bamboo has lifted, whether the affected sections can be re-adhered/repaired, and whether the existing floor can be saved rather than completely replaced. I can send photos showing the flooring and the areas that have lifted. Needing assessment and Quote to repair

Hi there, I’ve come across your work on Airtasker and was hoping you might be able to help with a small floorboard repair job. We have three small areas of timber flooring that have been damaged over time, mainly from dog scratches and general wear and tear. I’ve attempted to sand back and restain the affected areas myself, but I’m not happy with the finish and would really like to have them repaired professionally and blended back into the existing floor as well as possible. I’m not looking to have the entire floor sanded or refinished, just these three localised areas. We’re currently renting the property and are vacating, so I’d ideally love to have the work completed this Monday, 17 August, if you have any availability. I have a section of decking which is outside and exposed to rain / sun and has some damage over time and few of them needs replacing and some are bent ( guess the stump underneath is gone / needs replacement) . I need a handyman or carpenter to fix damaged timber subflooring in a hallway and turn a sloped ramp section into a single step. What needs to be done: Pull back carpet to access the floor. Remove and replace the damaged wood underneath. Remove the current ramp transition between the high and low floor sections. Build a solid single step to connect the two floor levels. Lay carpet back down over the new step/floor.
