I have two small sections 1m x 1m of timber flooring damaged by water leaks that need replacing. One is inside the front door and the other is downstairs outside the main bathroom. Photos attached. The section near the front door also has water damage to one side of the window frame that part or all will need replacing.

We need an experienced handyman or flooring installer to patch and finish a small area of vinyl plank flooring in a bedroom/wardrobe area. Details of the job: • Area size: There is a main missing section (approx. 1-2 meters long by a couple of planks wide) and 2 small patches near the wardrobe tracks that need infill planks. • Materials: We have the replacement vinyl planks and the flooring glue/adhesive ready on-site. • Requirements: You will need to bring your own tools (floor scraper/knife to prep the subfloor, straight edge, tape measure, and a roller or mallet to secure them). The concrete subfloor needs to be clean and flat before gluing down the new planks so they sit perfectly flush with the existing floor. Repair 3x Timber knotholes in decking - see photos attached for sizing. Repair/ fill in needs to withstand high foot traffic area and allow for thermal expansion/contraction.

A poster of decking is rotten. Have no idea what should I do. I am think that wood filler and waterproofing paint first anyway to avoid further destroying. Any proposal and suggestions are welcome.

Hybrid flooring repair at the entryway and hallway entry replace approximately 4 cut planks where a wall was removed, focusing on the exposed concrete areas not covered by the kitchen island. Godfrey Hirst 5.8mm hybrid planks and spare boxes are on site.  Task requires unclicking cut sections back to clean joints, checking subfloor levels, and relaying full planks seamlessly.

Repair rotten timber decking Looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to replace several rotten timber boards on my outdoor deck, including the area near the steps. Ideally I’d like to replace the damaged boards rather than the entire deck, provided the remaining timber is sound. Would also like the underlying structure checked for any rot. I have some rotted deck boards I want to replace. I have bought 27 secondhand boards that measure 3.5m in length, ready to lay to replace some old rotted ones. I can get the correct decking screws, I have some tools & I have a drill however your own drill would be great as mine is quite old. The deck is only 30cm off the ground, so when you pull the boards up you can stand on the ground easily. I’m hoping to get someone before the 31/10/26 to fix the deck @ $50 per hour

Looking for a handyman with carpentry skills to replace some of the hardwood treads on an outdoor staircase (old treads to be removed, new hardwood treads sourced from timberyard, cut to size, sanded and installed); looking to compare hourly rates people charge for labour.

I’m seeking urgent assistance with a timber floor repair before 23 October. Furniture has caused a long surface scuff/scratch (approximately 2–3 metres). I attempted to remove the mark with light hand sanding, but unfortunately this has left the finish looking cloudy and dull. I’ve since applied Gilly’s Hard Wax Oil, which temporarily improves the appearance, but the marks return once dry. I’m unsure whether the existing finish is polyurethane or hard wax oil. Ideally, I’m looking for someone who can assess and repair or blend the affected finish without needing to sand and refinish the entire floor.

Looking for a timber floor repair specialist to fix scratches on an engineered oak floor in a Brisbane CBD apartment. Floor: Woodcut, Osaka Brown (engineered oak, dark-stained, matte finish), down about 2 years. Damage: a few long, thin pale scratch lines along the boards, plus some small nicks. Photos attached. Repair flooring in this section

Hey guys, damaged vinyl plank/floor. Just need repair/polish so it looks less visible to prevent host bond being lost. We no longer stay here but will provide access and like this to be completed sooner then later. We don’t have spare tiles/planks Thanks.

Repair wood rot decking and nail in loose boards.

The deck (36m2) is being painted with opaque deck paint. It does not need to be sanded back to perfect bare timber. I need all loose/flaking coating removed, rough areas smoothed, and minor repairs /couple of boards replacing, done so it’s ready for painting. Edge work and clean up.

I have 3 areas to quote. 1. Timber tops across the top of the larger stairs, around a step-down to a pool deck and underneath pool gate. See photo named 1 IMG_4483 showing whole areq. The Merbau is 140mm wide. First the trim pieces around the outer pool deck: Lengths are as follows. 1. Across top stairs - 1300mm 2. Stair top to handrail - 650mm 3. From handrail along to small step down to deck - 2300mm 4. Side of small stairs down to deck - 650mm 5. Across top small stairs to deck - 1200mm 6. Side of small stairs down to deck - 650mm Secondly, underneath the pool gate: Here the pool gate and 2 adjacent side panels will need to be dismantled. Then the Merbau timber replaced. Then the the gate and 2 adjacent side panels reinstated. The length of this piece of Merbau is 2m See photos: 2 IMG_4477 3 IMG_4478 4 IMG_4479 - plus see sketch. TOTAL LENGTH of MERBAU - 8,750mm Lastly, The larger set of pine stairs needs replacing. See photo titles “6 Stairs” I will be wanting the angle of this stair changed as the stairs are too shallow and cause tripping, so I imagine one less tread, slightly steeper angle of stringers, plus the the base of the stringers to be on concrete pads to avoid rotting. Both stringers anjd all treads need to be removed and replaced with completely new treated pine timber.

Vinyl floor in shop. Ideally 5pm job so I can close the doors - 4 spots around 5cm x 5 cm - happy with resin fill or similar. Neat cut and fill - show me photos and what you would do please

Deck has wood rot and a few pieces need fixing

We are replacing the flooring in our extension room, and after taking up the carpet it is clear we need to replace a sheet of the plywood subfloor before we can lay down the new flooring. We would like an experienced Carpenter to make this structural repair.

A timber/composite cover panel that runs along the edge of the pool decking has come off. As a result, the underlying decking edge is exposed and has sharp sections, creating a safety hazard. TASK- Replace the missing cover panel, or * Install a temporary timber panel/solution to fully cover the exposed edge and remove any sharp hazard. Priority is to make the area safe immediately (as have guests staying), with a more permanent fix if needed after. Happy for a practical on-site solution — doesn’t need to be perfect today, just safe and secure.
