The deck (36m2) is being painted with opaque deck paint. It does not need to be sanded back to perfect bare timber. I need all loose/flaking coating removed, rough areas smoothed, and minor repairs /couple of boards replacing, done so it’s ready for painting. Edge work and clean up.

I’m looking for help with a deck repair. I’ve removed some boards and found rot in the corner section of the frame. One joist needs full replacement, and the rim/boundary joist in that corner likely needs a section replaced too. The joist sits in a metal hanger. The main bearer looks solid. I can remove more boards for access if needed. I’ll supply the decking boards, but I’m happy for you to supply the structural timber and hanger if required.
