Require hardwood floors sanded/polished and finished in high gloss. The space is approximately 2000 by 4400 - just shy as the space under cabinets in laundry wont need doing. Some of the boards have been polished before and have a varnish on them, other replacement boards are lightly sanded back, but mostly raw (see pic). I have a post war home in Ashgrove with original timber floor boards in the bathroom which have had vinyl tiles on them since the 70's. We have removed the vinyl and exposed the floor boards. We are seeking a contractor to supply and install wet area vinyl to the bathroom floor inclusive of all waterproofing, underlay, etc.

We have a room (toilet) with some original tiles that need lifting so we can lay new ones. I do not have the right equipment, good old hammer and chisel just hasn't been cutting the mustard. If you have a jackhammer and decent chisle bit this isn't a big job. Happy to pay per hour, up to 2 hours. Need a good smooth finish so we can lay the new tiles as mentioned. Someone with flooring experience is preferred. Room is 1700x900
