What do floor repair services include?
Floor repair services involve fixing and restoring your floors to its pristine condition! This can include inspecting and assessing the damaged areas, replacing those portions with identical material, and sealing your floors to make it look brand new. You can also have your floors deep cleaned for a completely fresh look! Whether you're getting a new room constructed or an old one renovated, Taskers can take care of your floors through the following:
Concrete floor repair
Concrete floors are tough and durable, making them perfect for high-traffic and high-moisture areas like kitchens and bathrooms. However, it’s inevitable for them to develop chips and cracks and cause further wear and tear when left unattended. That's why it's important to get a concrete floor crack repair as soon as you notice damage on your concrete floors. Taskers can provide a permanent fix to cracks and chips, rather than just injecting epoxy mortar or filling the surface.
Once your Tasker has repaired your mortar floor, why not have your kitchen remodelled to match your new flooring? Or get your bathroom renovated to give your home a much-needed refresh!
Laminate floor repair
It’s common for laminate floors to peak, creak, buckle, and show other signs of damage. If you encounter these problems with your laminate floor, Taskers can readily help you out. Laminate floor scratch repairs mean restoring and refilling the damaged areas with materials that match your flooring. You don’t have to worry about the colour and the pattern either, because they can match those for you, removing all the guesswork from your end. Your Tasker can also hide scratches, chips, and other imperfections on your floor paint.
Vinyl floor repair
While vinyl flooring may look aesthetically pleasing, it can be damaged easily because it's a thin kind of flooring. Bulges, holes, and splits can certainly be an eyesore, but it's easy to get a Tasker to fix those issues for you! They can repair uneven vinyl floors, restore those that are already peeling up, and replace permanently stained or damaged vinyl sheets, planks, or tiles. Getting your vinyl flooring repaired ensures you that their beauty is restored with better durability!
Caravan floor repair
When your caravan floor makes noises when walked over, it may be because it’s already spongy and showing signs of delamination. This happens when the glue holding the different layers of your floor starts to wear off. It’s common to have this problem, especially if your caravan floor is in a high-traffic or high-moisture area. Have the delamination repaired as soon as possible to prevent further spreading! Taskers can refill your floors with a special adhesive and repair damaged areas as needed. You can enjoy your newly-fixed caravan floor in no time!

Deck Repair - Rotted joist causing sag (Need solutions)
$500
Donvale VIC 3111, Australia
3rd May 2026
Hi there, I’m looking for an experienced carpenter to repair a section of my deck near the stairs. The Issue: The deck is currently sagging quite noticeably. Looking underneath, the timber at one of the cross joints has heavily rotted out, and the metal bracket connecting the joists is no longer holding securely. I'm looking for a professional to replace the rotted joist and jack the deck up so it's no longer sagging, ensuring it's structurally sound long-term. When submitting your quote, please briefly outline your proposed solution (e.g., how you plan to jack it up, replace the rotted sections, install a support, reinforce or something else entirely). Additional Info: Access: It is accessible from underneath. It's an unpaved gravel surface, but there is an access door at the side with enough clearance to get under there and work. Materials: Please let me know in your quote if your price includes supplying the replacement timber/hardware/stumps, or if you prefer I supply the materials prior to the job. Photos: Please refer to the attached photos to see the sagging near the stairs and the extent of the rot underneath. Estimated start date is between May 25th and June 1st. I will base my decision on a combination of your proposed solution and the price.

The floor boards need repairing. When the heater vent was installed, it looks like they just cut the hole, which left the planks of wood between the vent and the doorframe not supported underneath. Someone stepped on it the other day, cracking a board and pushing it down. Likely just needs to be glued back together, then some pine wood put underneath the floor boards to support it and prevent it cracking again. The subfloor has enough clearance to walk around for the most part. Directly under the vent there's probably about 1m clearance
