This skirting board had some moisture damage in the bathroom on right side. The moisture has been fixed, but the skirting board was damaged and the backing has also collapsed in the damaged area. The length of the skirting board is approximately 22cm long x 6cm. I need the wall cavity packed out/patched and a new section of moisture-resistant skirting board fitted and sealed. No painting required. I am looking for a reliable local long-term handyman/carpenter for future jobs.

New hybrid flooring been installed the 6th and 7th October. Need new skirting boards installed after the flooring has been done. We have the skirting boards. We live in a 4 bedroom house, living room, kitchen, dining room and office. No bathrooms need doing. The walls are plaster board.

Looking for someone with experience in caulking to finish the skirting boards throughout the ground floor and a room upstairs of our home. I was originally planning to do it myself, but I’ve been procrastinating, so I’d rather have a professional get it done properly. The job involves caulking the gaps between the skirting boards and the walls/floor to leave a neat, clean finish. Please see the attached photos for an idea of the work. We have a limited budget, but we’re happy to supply all required caulk and materials, so we’re mainly looking for labour.

Hi I need a skilled carpenter to install an internal door for me. I also need a skirting board replaced. I’ve already purchased a door (not pre hung) hinges and the skirting. Door handles to be swapped from previous door. If possible putty to also be applied to the small part of damaged door frame (I don’t have any putty you would need to bring). Please have insurance.

Have just replaced the old floors with new floor boards but had to remove all the floor board skirtings. Needing new ones for the entire house. There are no stairs. I don’t have the skirting. We were hoping of probably more simple rectangular skirting. The total linear meters is about 95m. Below I have attached the floor plan of the house. There are 4 small holes above the door frames of two of our doors from pull up bars.

We need various jobs done around the house which include: -Install skirting boards in rumpus room -Install a 720mm internal door -Minor frame work done in kitchen (the alcove nook area that fridge and pantry need to go has a depth of 600mm and need to increase to about 750mm) - architrave to be installed on another internal door - front porch hand railing needs 2 x 1m railing install (currently missing) We also have various plaster jobs to do but might get a separate plasterer for that unless you are someone that can do it all. I understand it’s probably hard to quote total price without seeing all these jobs in person hence with the low price entered for budget.
