Preference is to remove the skirting with reasonable care as I hope to salvage as much as practical. I understand some sections may not be reusable due to previous dog damage and pet urine. Please note: The existing carpet dates from the 1980s and has significant pet urine contamination. Some skirting boards have also been affected. Carpet removal and professional biohazard remediation are scheduled to commence the following day. There is likely to be some odour. If you are not comfortable working in these conditions, please do not accept the task. This job must be completed on Tuesday 14 July so remediation can commence on Wednesday morning. Please bring suitable tools for careful skirting board removal.

I'm having carpets replaced next week and have discovered that the hall skirting board has gaps. The hall has a 3m section and a 50cm section. The gaps are in the 50cm section and a 1m section of the long side. Price is negotiable and depends whether I am buying materials.

I have a desk that i got built and it is just a few mm out from fitting in the alcove so if the skirting board from the sides of the alcove get removed the desk should be able to slide in. Prob take you 10 minutes max. Located in Belconnen near cisac.

Hi, I’m looking for someone to repair a damaged skirting board (wall trim) in my apartment. The issue is at the bottom edge where the skirting meets the carpet. There are visible dents, scratches and small chunks missing in the wood. I would like it restored so it looks clean and neat again.

We recently had the flooring in our unit replaced. The existing skirting boards were reinstalled. Need someone with an eye for detail to touch up the skirting and fill gaps between the skirting and the walls. Will post pictures shortly.
