Replace cracked bayonet light fitting (B22) The bayonet light socket cracked while I was changing the bulb. I need a licensed electrician to replace the bayonet lampholder/light fitting and confirm it is safe and working. The existing light is ceiling-mounted and easily accessible (see photos). The mounting plate appears fine; it looks like only the socket needs replacing, but please advise if anything else is required. Please include the replacement bayonet fitting and bulb (brightest possible for the fitting) in your quote if possible.

I’m looking for a licensed electrician to complete the following work and provide a clean, contemporary finish. 1. Replace Existing TV/Power/Data Outlet I’d like the existing bulky combination wall plate replaced with a modern, slimline or recessed solution. The new installation should retain: * Power outlets (4 GPOs or as recommended) * NBN FTTB DSL (RJ11) outlet for my modem * One TV coaxial outlet (for future use) The second coaxial outlet is no longer used and can be removed if appropriate. I’m happy for you to recommend the best solution (e.g. Clipsal Iconic or similar). 2. Consolidate Light Switches There are two switch plates approximately 400 mm apart. I’d like all existing switches and dimmers relocated and consolidated into a single multi-gang switch plate in the location of the current single switch. Please: * Remove the existing larger switch plate. * Extend wiring as required. * Patch and make good the redundant wall opening so it is ready for timber panelling. * Reuse existing dimmers where practical or supply compatible replacements if required. We have one switch which controls the bathroom extractor fan and also the laundry cupboard light. The extractor fan works, but the light doesn’t we have replaced the bulb which has not helped. Could be a faulty switch that needs replacing. Regarding the oven bulb, sometimes the light works and sometimes it doesn’t.

One of the protected power switches was triggered yesterday. I have unplugged all devices from the wall sockets and even switched each socket off manually in the affected rooms but I cannot switch the protected power switch back on. For context there may be a socket that has been affected in the wall by all the rain recently as this impacted a light switch in our wall about 2 years ago..
