Existing nbn box and router works perfectly in the main floor but no internet connection upstairs and granny flat. Bought some mesh but didnt work.

I recently had a new Telstra internet service connected, but I'd like an assessment of the best permanent modem location. If additional telecommunications cabling or a new outlet is required, please provide a quote before any work is carried out. need to extend wifi to garden workshop. All cables ethernet phone plug are all installed in house, just need help to make sure all devices are still using password to the modem

Connect my new modem and nbn

I bought and installed 3 of these in order to achieve wifi "mesh" (ie. Extended Roaming), in order top have strong 5GHz and 2.4GHz coverage throughout the house. One of the routers in functioning successfully as the AP, and it seems to be the only one that lets me connect. I now have better coverage than I did previously with a FRITZ!Box 7390, but with only that one router.

Details: * New Tangerine NBN connection. * Tangerine has confirmed I do not require an NBN connection box and that the modem should connect directly via an RJ11/XDSL cable. * The property has multiple wall sockets (coax and RJ45/telephone style), and I need help identifying the correct active DSL outlet. * I have already tested the coax outlets and they do not appear to be the correct connection for this service. * I have the modem on-site, but the supplied cable does not match the wall socket, so the technician may need to provide or recommend the correct cable (RJ45 to RJ11/RJ12 if required). Tasks: * Identify the correct DSL/telephone outlet in the property. * Verify the NBN service is reaching the premises. * Supply/use the correct cable if required. * Configure and connect the modem. * Confirm the internet is working before leaving. To install new modem router

Purchased a new internet modem / router. I can get it to work. Would like some help please

We need a network cable to run from the back of our router, under the floor to a bedroom. The crawl space is a bit tight and I don’t like being under the floor which is why I am posting this task. The direct distance between the two points in about 10 meters, but I suspect a cable would need to be 15 meters as it cannot go in a direct line between the two point. There are already holes in the floor at each end so it just needs to go in one end and come out the other. Should be quick for someone who is happy being under the floorboards. Thank you

Power outage this morning made internet cut out. The modem isn’t connect to the opticomm. I’ve been advised that we need to do a modem reconfiguration with an Ethernet cable. I’d potentially need someone available between 5-8pm today to come out to Berwick to do it. Exetel has sent instructions
