Hi, I am undertaking a bathroom renovation in Heidelberg and require a licensed plumber for an independent assessment on Monday June 15th. Background: During demolition, it was discovered that the existing shower waste pipe exits through the wall rather than the floor, sitting approximately 80mm above slab level. The current contractor has proposed cutting the slab beneath the existing pipework and partially removing the brick wall to access the drainagein order to lower the waste pipe and achieve a compliant 50mm raised shower hob, at an additional cost of $1,760. I need an independent licensed plumber to: 1. Attend the site and assess the current waste pipe setup 2. Confirm whether the proposed slab cutting and pipe lowering are necessary and the only way to achieve a 50mm hob 3. Consider if there are alternative solutions 4. Determine if a flush floor walk-in shower can be installed, given the existing floor levels and drainage setup 5. Confirm whether the proposed works are safe, especially since this is an apartment with a unit below 6. Provide a written report of findings on the day 7. I would like a new tap to be installed behind a fridge, with a pressure regulator and shut off valve. Once this is done I would like the fridge to be connected to tap. There is easy access to water right out side.

We have replaced the sink in our vanity and the waste outlet no longer lines up correctly with the pipes. We have the new vanity waste ready.

Water is leaking from the bottom of the toilet when it is flushed. Needs the rubber seal replaced.

Small shower (approximately 1m²) requires old caulk/silicone to be removed and replaced with mould-resistant bathroom silicone, ensuring a clean, neat and watertight finish. Additionally, we would like someone to inspect the seal around our bathroom sink drain, as there appears to be some mould/grime buildup, and advise whether resealing is required. Preferably looking for someone with plumbing experience or a licensed plumber, as we may have additional plumbing work in the future.

Water pressure in shower is very low

My tap in the bathroom basin is loose , it was fixed previously about a few moths ago but a now loose again. Very frustrating .

Chipped sink from dropping something still got the piece that came off, doesn’t need to be ‘perfect’, I know it will still be visible after repair most likely, but eye for detail kind of person with experience would be great.

We just got a new kitchen sink tap fitted only a month ago and it’s already come loose. We need someone to come and tighten it. Please refer to the photos because it is hard to access from under the sink and you’ll need to ensure you have the correct tools.
