The table lamp shown in the photos has stopped working, and I’m not sure what the cause is. You can see the brand name in the pictures. It is controlled by a small rotary dial that adjusts both the power and the brightness. I am looking for an experienced electrician or handyman to troubleshoot and fix it.

GPOs in the kitchen in my apartment in Zetland a while ago and recently, the entire GPO has fallen apart and is no longer functioning. I am aware that I've had some issues now with the GPO when it was installed (I can send some photos) because there isn't enough timber around it to hold up the framing (a building error at the time). Replace the GPO with a new one (I believe the backing - not just the face of the GPO) may need to be replaced as well. In my apartment the existing vents (my understanding is it’s a common riser that leads to a main suction unit at the roof) is extremely weak leading to misty showers and damp. I need to add 2 power points in an apartment. One is just on a gib wall where there is already a power point right behind it. The other one I need an electrician to route from a power point next to my bed then cable through, the bottom hole of the bookshelf and come out the other side of the bookshelf where my table is. There is a space in my apartment with no electrical outlets, and I want to install an outlet on the wall.The two walls circled in green in the image are where we would like to add a new power outlet.
