Hi. I need someone with basic carpentry skills to assist with fixing two cupboard doors in my home: one in the kitchen and one in the bathroom. I can put the cupboard doors back on but after a few weeks/months they come off again. The hinges seem fine: not damaged or deteriorating. I have tried tightening the hinge screws, adjusting and repositioning them. I suspect the problem is that the drilled holes for them in the cupboard walls have come loose / stripped and are deteriorating. They may need some wood filler that can be drilled into. Then again, the screws just might simply need to be adjusted and tightened properly (I am just using a screwdriver set). If needed, there is a Richmond Mitre 10 Trade Centre at the end of my street, and Bunnings Hawthorn is a six-minute drive away. I would expect the person to have proper tools. I will purchase any materials needed.

Front door is sticking to bottom concrete step and not closing properly. Will need to be shaved and/or rehung.

Please help me move the 5 drawers to the middle (change position with the white blue closet) and put the 49 inches tv on the 5 drawers We built the closet ourselves but we defs didn’t screw the door well cause when I open or close the door it makes the sound in the corner as the photo shown. I would like to know if this can be fixed. The date is from 29th February Thursday evening to 3rd Sunday all day, thank you!!

I have 4 internal doors that I'm replacing the latches on to use new magnetic ones. The latches don't swap out identically and require some chiselling to fit the latch itself as well as some additional work on the door to make the latch plate flush with the door. You can see in the attached photo, it does not recess flush in the existing cutout. I need someone to install these latches so that they sit flush with the door and work correctly.

We are moving out and have a few small holes that need to be patched. There’s a handful of small holes from where we hung pictures on the wall, the walls are brick so we couldn’t just use nails. There is also a hole from where one of the doors swung and hit a small hole in the wall - that wall is just plasterboard. We have leftover paint in our shed from when they repainted the place, so they just need to be patched up and painted, it’s all the same white

Replace current door handle with a lockable one on a bedroom. Lock provided. BYO own tools to make holes bigger. Small job for right person.

Getting a plain door from bunnings for the spare bedroom. But a couple of cm's need to be planed off the top and a side so that it can fit into the frame. I think the measurements of the old door were 2020mm x 810mm or something similar, but I'll leave the measuring to you. Could you also fit it to the hinges and make the hole for the door handle too please. Attached a front and back photo of the door frame and the basic door I'll get - Due date: Flexible

Two Doors have come off hinges at the top. One of them the mounting hole has cracked so may need to be repaired/glued or reposition the mount up/down. - Due date: Before Tuesday, 14 November 2023
