Looking for an experienced carpenter or handyman to fix a front door that appears to have swollen, warped, or dropped slightly and no longer closes properly. The clearance on the latch side is extremely tight and the door rubs/jams against the frame. The door may need: Planing/trimming Rehanging/adjusting hinges Latch alignment adjustment Or potentially replacement if not repairable I also have 2 additional internal doors with similar issues (sticking and not closing smoothly), which I’d like inspected and fixed at the same time if possible. House is an older brick home in Carlton North. I’ve attached photos of the main door and frame for reference. 2 x doors need a few mm shaved off bottom to make space for tiles. Removal of 1 x small window/ serving area part of old kitchen so bench can be treated (nothing complicated). See image. Thanks

I’ve purchased a new front door entrance set (lock and handle) and am looking for someone to remove the existing hardware and install the new kit. The entrance set includes all required components (as shown in the photo). If possible, I’d also like someone to fill and sand the old 'indent' in the timber frame where the old latch sat so it is flush/invisible. I’d also like a centre door knob installed on the exterior side of the door. I already have this handle as well.

Hi, I have moved into a period-style house and there is a large 50-60mm gap at the bottom of the front door. The gap is on a slant (larger towards door handle) and there is a draft stopper on the front screwed in, but it doesn’t work as it is positioned too high above the ground (see pictures). I need a temporary but secure fix to keep drafts out and repel mice and insects etc while I look for permanent solutions

Hang an exterior door. I will supply door, handle. Reuse hingers from old door if you want. New hinges will be supplied as an option. Leave old door, I’ll dispose of. Photos of proposed door and handle attached in description.
