It’s heavy, and the flat is on the first floor up a set of stairs - doors already up here though. Steel frame: the new door’s hinges need to line up with the existing hinge positions on the frame. The opening is tapered: 862 mm wide at the top, 852 mm at the bottom, 2040 mm high. The new door is [40/42] mm thick. The old one was 45 mm. Fit a Gainsborough Trilock, a mortice lock with a long deadbolt. The strike opening in the steel frame will probably need cutting or enlarging. Fit a Lockwood 160 door viewer (spy hole). I need a handyman to adjust my front timber door, as it's currently dragging at the bottom when closing. Additionally, I'd like to have a roller latch installed on this door to help keep it securely closed without needing to lock it each time.
