remove 12 old rusted on screws from old security door

The door knob to my bedroom is loose and won't open the door. The brass plate is very tight and I couldn't get it off to access the screws. All of my things are inside (I'm housesitting) so I'm stuck until I can get it fixed. Hopefully someone can help today!

I have 2x large bifold doors for interior laundry. They are too heavy and have sagged. I need these readjusted/levelled. My ground-floor apartment has a wind-out window in the kitchen, which due to historic subsidence of the building can't be closed/wound properly shut. The issue just seems to be on the left hand corner, so only the edges on that side need to be sanded. Once sanded, I'd like a lick of paint added (it doesn't need to look good, as it won't be seen) to seal the wood from the rain. Please note that being a wind-out window, the frame can only extend so far. There is also a metallic fly screen in the window, which will inhibit access from the inside (the window is at ground level).
