I had posted this previously and have since defrosted my fridge freezer for 24hrs and it’s still not getting cold. I’ve done as many visual checks as I can, the light in the fridge is still on (when turned on) and can hear the hum of the motor/compressor. The fridge has no feel of air circulation and feels very ‘still’ and warm. The whole thing has been turned off for 24 hours and completely defrosted. The door seals are all still fine. When turned back on the freezer no longer generates any frost but is definitely colder than the fridge still. The appliance is now 5 years old. Ultimately what I want to know is if this is at all salvageable or if I’m better off getting a new fridge freezer fitted.

Install upright integrated fridge and freezer into pre-existing fitted kitchen, replacing same sized units (which will be gone). Electric supply in place, the main job will be mounting sliding hinge doors, and adjusting height etc. Replacement units are standard size and will fit into existing carcasses.
