I’m looking for someone experienced with plumbing or appliance drainage to diagnose and fix a persistent sewer smell affecting my washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen sink. The issue: • There is a strong sewer/boiled drain smell coming from the washing machine, dishwasher and kitchen sink. • Clothes and dishes come out smelling like the sewer after every wash cycle. • I’ve already tried using a washing machine cleaner, as well as baking soda and vinegar, but neither has resolved the problem. • I suspect the smell may be coming from the waste pipe or drainage system, but I’m not certain. I’m looking for someone who can: • Inspect the drainage and waste pipe connections. • Check the sink trap, standpipe, dishwasher and washing machine waste connections, and any air admittance valve or venting issues if applicable. • Identify the source of the odour. • Fix the issue if possible, or clearly explain what needs to be repaired.
