There’s a small leak from my flat roof above the bay window. The bitumen roof has a visible crack that needs to be sealed. The job is to clean the area and apply a 100mm wide band coat of roof seal (like Thompson’s Roof Seal or bitumen paint) with a brush to cover the crack fully. Also fit a small strip of aluminium or lead sheet over the joint where the flat roof meets the tiled roof, then reseal over it for extra protection. It’s just one small area, close to the eaves — about two-storey height. Please bring a long ladder suitable for two-storey access. I can provide the other materials (roof seal/paint, brush, lead sheet, etc.) if needed.
