​Hi plumbers, ​The issue: The bathroom basin mixer tap only delivers either cold or hot water. When the lever is set to the middle position, the water flow almost stops. ​What I need: ​To diagnose whether it requires a replacement ceramic disc cartridge, a full tap replacement, or a pressure adjustment. This is for ​an initial check and happy for a quote for if further work is required.

Kitchen mixer tap is leaking from the base of the spout when either the hot or cold tap is turned on. The more the tap is opened, the more water spurts out. I would like someone to diagnose and repair it.

Job Overview: Remove two separate bath taps, install a new deck-mounted bath shower mixer tap (GoodHome Cavally), and mount the shower head bracket. Scope of Work: Remove and later reinstall the bath panel to access plumbing underneath. Turn off / isolate the hot and cold water supply to the bathtub. Disconnect and remove the two existing taps. Fit the new bath shower mixer tap onto the existing 180mm tap holes. Drill and screw-mount the shower head wall bracket into the tiled wall above the bath. Reconnect pipes, restore water flow, test for leaks, and reinstall the bath panel securely. Materials & Requirements: All tap hardware, hose, handset, and wall bracket are provided. Please bring standard plumbing tools, basin wrench, and consumables (PTFE tape, silicone if needed).

I have started it but cannot disconnect the existing flexi hoses from the mains with the two spanners I have. Likely take you 5 mins with right tools and strength!

My shower is leaking. It doesn't have a shower tray/basin and the glass screen sits directly on the tiled floor. Water is leaking out of the shower as a result.

**Bathroom and Ceiling Water Leak Inspection** My upstairs bathroom appears to be leaking into the kitchen ceiling below. I’m not sure where the issue is originating, so I’d like someone to inspect both the bathroom and the kitchen ceiling to identify the source of the leak. Two bathrooms, back to back, and alongside an outside wall on the second floor of a purpose-built building. The toilets share a waste pipe, waste is flowing from one toilet to another and back again. It seems that there may be a blockage to the outside waste pipe. This job may require going into the cabinet behind the cistern in the main bathroom. (Easy access)

I need my toilet cistern fixed

Concealed Geberit toilet cistern leaking slowly into the bowl. After flushing, it refills normally, then starts topping up/hissing again about 5 minutes later. Likely flush valve seal/gasket issue. Access is available through the flush plate, so no tiles need removing. Looking for a plumber experienced with concealed Geberit cisterns to diagnose, repair/replace the faulty seal or valve if needed, and test afterwards. Please quote labour and indicate whether parts are included.

The flush button mechanism for my toilet has come loose behind the wooden panel. The grey flush actuator/mechanism is currently being held in place with cable ties; without them it hangs loose, and when the flush button is pressed the whole mechanism moves instead of staying securely mounted. I’m looking for someone to inspect it and properly secure/remount the mechanism, ideally with a suitable bracket/fixing rather than cable ties, and make sure the flush operates correctly. Access is available behind the toilet and I can provide photos. Ideally looking for someone with experience repairing concealed cistern/toilet flush mechanisms. Please bring any appropriate brackets/fixings that may be required.

Two tasks 1. Remove sealant and reseal around the bath tub 2. Fix toilet seat.

Update - flush has broken on toilet in cistern - it looks like a part has broken off (unclear) and water is filling into the cistern but very slowly; and the flush is moving very slowly.
