I’m unsure of what’s happened to the ceiling here in the bathroom but it’s coming apart and needs to be fixed and re painted after. The ceiling needs to be scraped using a scraper to remove all loose/flaking paint and soft plaster. Then, needs to be cleaned with a mould/mildew cleaner. After this is completely dried, a stain-blocking primer/sealer needs to be applied. After, I need two coats of bathroom-specific anti-mould, moisture-resistant paint. Please bring this with you or if really cannot find, I will provide and change the quote. This seems like a two day job

Reposting as have been let down twice by the guy I had lined up to do the job… Back in February the upstairs flat had a leaky sink tap which caused some minor damage to our bathroom ceiling below. It’s now fully dry and in need of redecorating. Have attached a photo of the damage initially and now that it’s dry. The biggest patch is above the bathroom window and there is also a small patch on the ceiling above the door. Just need these small sections making good again. FYI this is what the previous contractor had intended to do: “scrape and sand watermarks, fill if necessary and then stainblock the whole ceiling and once dry give the ceiling another full coat of Dulux easy care bathroom paint in white.” If you’d like to take a look before quoting our tenants can be available most evenings after 5:30pm. Looking to revamp existing kitchen cupboards and worktops, as only a few years old (good carcasses) and to keep costs down. L-shaped kitchen. Current units are an oak effect laminate with a dark granite effect laminate worktop. Work to be done: 1. Looking for handy person to paint over my wrapped kitchen cupboards kitchen is small as it’s open plan my budget is £50 and need it done today!

We need to re-vamp our kitchen a bit before we can sell the property. 1. We have some of that film that we want to put over the kitchen worktops (there are only 2 small bits of worktop left to cover so should take no more than 2 hours to measure, cut and apply). 2. We also need to clean up the kitchen tiles, they will need a thorough cleaning/bleaching and also the grount will need painting as it is discoloured and mouldy in places. These wall panels are going from bottom to top along the wall and they are also going to be available in the landing area at the top of the stairs. I’m preparing my house for new tenants. I need the walls repaired where damaged from hanging art, mirrors, etc. There is also some extra painting I need doing. Much more work than in the pictures. I have some of the paint you’ll need, one wall I’ll need you to find a matching paint. Approximately 4 hours work.

I need help repairing and repainting two areas in my flat: 1. Bathroom wall – a bracket has come loose, leaving screw holes and marks. Needs filler/plaster repair, sanding, and repainting with bathroom-suitable paint (white). 2. Hallway (dark colour) – several screw holes and surface damage left after bike holder has been torn out of the wall. Needs proper filling, sanding flush, and repainting. Because the wall is a dark blue colour, I expect the whole wall may need repainting for a clean finish. Requirements: • Provide own tools and materials (I can supply paint if advised what to buy). • Ensure a smooth, neat finish with repairs invisible once painted. • Protect flooring/skirting while working and clean up after.

Part of 1 wall needs to be sanded down as it’s had glue on it before and can’t get a smooth finish on it as it is. I’ve tried doing it but find using a sander quite difficult for some reason. It’s the blue part of the wall. Also, the part just above the white panelling piece needs to be (carefully) sanded as there is some leftover glue so can’t get a smooth finish. You will need to have your own sander as my sander isn’t that great.
