We have three heavy wood blinds that were taken down for room painting and now need to be put up again. This includes screwing in the fittings which are quite tough.

Three recess-fitted 50mm real-wood Venetian blinds (warm brown slats, dark brown cloth ladder tapes), each roughly 110 cm wide x 155 cm drop, inside brick window reveals. The lift and tilt cords have gone on all three so they won't raise, lower or tilt closed. Need all three restrung so they raise, lower and tilt properly, plus one split slat near the bottom replaced (or moved to the bottom / removed if a match isn't available). Ladder tapes are intact. I have wooden Venetian blinds at a property in Cobham, and a few of the slats have been snapped/split. There are two blinds (one either side of the door) but the damage is only on the lower slats on one side of the blinds. I'd like to get them repaired rather than replaced if possible. Could you let me know: 1. Whether you're able to replace just the individual damaged slats rather than the whole blind 2. An approximate cost 3. There are not really any spares on them, but you could take the bottom slat off each side and use them to replace the broken ones.

Our Venetian blind needs to be repaired. The strong which you use to operate the blind and pull it up has snapped. As a result they're permanently down and can't be pulled up. I was hoping there's a way to restring the blinds so it can be operated without having to purchase a new one.

We would like two pairs maybe more of wooden window shutters. As it is in Australian dollars, I was thinking about £500 or some negotiation depending on materials

The bottom rail (slat) of a Venetian/faux-wood blind has snapped, causing the lower section and strings to sag. The task involves: Sourcing and replacing the snapped bottom rail/slat. Re-threading the internal lift cords and ladder tapes through the new rail. Securing the bottom cord locks/buttons to restore proper tension so the blinds hang straight and function normally. Requirements: Please bring the necessary tools and advise if you can source a standard replacement bottom rail, or let me know if I need to purchase the spare part in advance.
