Based on combined wood fibres, wax, and resin, medium-density fibreboards are denser than traditional timbers. Prone to splintering, it requires the right tools and technique to cut them to pieces efficiently.

Our MDF cutters will arrive at your location with the proper tools and gear, including safety goggles, heavy-duty gloves, and a dust mask to avoid the inhalation of dust particles. From there, they’ll assess what type of MDF board you have and help trim down the length or thickness of your wooden board as needed. MDF assessment

MDF comes in several types–moisture resistant, veneer, melamine, particle boards, and fibre boards. While the standard cutting method applies to bared boards, special attention and treatment are needed for melamine and veneered MDF cut to size services as they can be sometimes prone to chipping and tearing.

Custom cut MDF

Medium-density fiberboards have become the favourite material choice for assemblies, carpentry, and art projects. Depending on your needs, taskers can do straight cuts, curved cuts, or crosscuts. They can also help trim down your boards to your preferred size so you can have them ready for your bespoke cabinet or table assembly. Any circular or standard cutting tool can work for straight cuts, although your Tasker might use a jigsaw power tool for curved cuts for a cleaner finish.

If you are planning to install shelves or custom cabinets for your kitchen or bathroom renovation, taskers may also drill your MDF to save time. With the right equipment and hand skills, they can help assure the consistency and quality of your wood panels. While you're at it, you can also request for an accurate edge banding that will help add value to your furniture or any carpentry project. They can apply almost any type of edging, including melamine, acrylic, or high gloss.
