I have bought two lockable handles just need the barrels put in and a kitchen sink u bend replaced. Parts for sink will arrive tomorrow.

Remove all existing sealant around the kitchen sink and hob, clean and prepare the surfaces thoroughly, and reseal neatly with suitable clear kitchen-grade silicone. Also remove and replace the existing dark-grey flexible sealant/jointing material between the sections of wooden worktop. The replacement should be dark grey, ideally matching the current colour. Please identify and use a product suitable for wooden worktop joints—not ordinary silicone unless that is technically appropriate. Please confirm the worktop-joint product and colour with me before applying it. Black may be considered only if suitable dark grey cannot be sourced and must be approved beforehand. The finish needs to be clean, smooth and watertight. Please provide all tools and materials, completely remove the existing sealants, prepare the surfaces properly, and dispose of the waste. Please only offer if you have relevant kitchen/worktop sealing experience. Photos attached.

My kitchen sink is blocked

In the kitchen sink water bubble up and stinks, needs to fix, water trap issue may be

water leakage from the pipes beneath the kitchen sink and not sure whether components are missing, damaged, or incorrectly installed.

I’m looking for a plumber to repair my kitchen sink waste pipe. The existing P-trap/U-bend has come apart and I haven’t been able to refit it correctly. I purchased what I thought was the correct replacement, but it appears the fittings/washers aren’t compatible with my existing pipework. Job required: * Assess the current waste pipe setup. * Supply any correct fittings/washers if needed. * Replace and fit a new P-trap/U-bend. * Ensure all joints are watertight and test for leaks before leaving. The sink is currently unusable as the waste pipe has come apart (see photos). Hi! I’m looking for someone to improve the messy area behind and around my kitchen sink. Some wood behind the sink had previously rotted, and the repair was covered with a white plastic strip and lots of silicone. It now looks quite rough and the silicone is stained and coming away. I’d love to have it repaired properly and left looking clean, neat and water-resistant. I’m hoping the job could include: Removing the plastic strip and old silicone Checking what the surface underneath is like Repairing any small damaged areas Creating a neater, longer-lasting finish behind the sink Replacing the silicone around the area Checking the edges of the sink and resealing them if needed The sink itself seems fine, so I’m not necessarily looking to replace it. However, I’d appreciate your advice if you find that the sink or surrounding worktop is contributing to the problem. I understand that it may not be possible to see the full condition until the plastic is removed. If anything more substantial is uncovered, please show me and discuss any additional cost before continuing. Looking for a qualified electrician to install a new plug socket/power point inside or adjacent to the under-sink kitchen cupboard for a reverse-osmosis water filter. There is currently no socket inside the cupboard, but the dishwasher immediately next to it is powered from behind the cabinetry and there appears to be an accessible route/gap between the two cupboards. I think the u bend is blocked and will need removing and cleared. I have tried baking soda and white vinegar followed by a stronger sink cleaner, and whilst it is better it is still not draining.

I’m looking for a plumber to attend and investigate a drainage issue in my kitchen. The problem started while the water from the washing machine start to back up into the kitchen sink, and the sink is now draining very slowly / has become blocked. The washing machine and kitchen sink share a common waste pipe, so there may be a blockage further down the drainage line. I would like someone to come out, identify the cause of the blockage, and carry out any necessary unblocking works.
