I want a new internal door fitted

I need one internal door shortening. I got a new carpet recently and the door no longer clears the floor. It just needs a slight trim. The door has been removed so would want it then putting back on the hinges.

I'm looking for someone to hang an internal door to our utility room. The door and all necessary hardware will be supplied. The door frame has not had a door on it previously so will need door jams fitted. Painting afterwards is not required. The door frame is 760mm wide. Please see attached photographs for more details. I have 7 internal doors. Several of them don't close properly, and some are quite noisy when opening/ closing. I need an experienced handyman/ door specialist to inspect all 7 doors and fix/ adjust them as far as reasonably possible without replacing the doors themselves. What I need: - Inspect all doors, hinges, frames, latches and strike/ keep plates - Identify why some doors aren't closing properly - Adjust hinges, door alignment, latches and/ or keeps as necessary - Lubricate mechanisms where appropriate - Make the doors close properly and smoothly, with minimal force - Reduce the noise from the doors closing as much as reasonably possible. - Check whether the existing mortice locks/ latches are worn and whether they need adjustment or replacement - Advise me whether replacing the existing handles would make any meaningful difference Important: I don't want the doors themselves replaced. Minor adjustments, hinge/ keep adjustments, lubrication and reasonable minor repairs are fine. Please discuss with me before carrying out any significant carpentry or replacing lock mechanisms. I would ideally like the inspection and the necessary adjustment/ repair work to be completed during the same visit. Please only apply if you have experience with internal doors, mortice locks/ latches and door alignment, and can diagnose why doors aren't closing properly rather than simply replacing the handles.

I need all 6 internal doors replaced. I will provide the painted MDF replacement doors, handles, hinges and latches. I have not ordered them yet and will confirm with you before I do so. I will get as similar a size as possible but some resizing with the right tools may be needed. Most important for me is someone who has a history of high quality workmanship. The photo attached shows the corridor, with all 6 doorways visible. The doors are all of the same kind as the door in the foreground.

Hi all! I have a door, unsure wether it is the right size so will need to maybe be cut down. I have hinges and the handle needed.

Job is to swap back and re-hang the internal doors replacing the current fire doors. Including opening up a stud wall and putting double doors in the dining room. The doors are labelled as to which one goes in each room, so they should fit okay. These are the old doors originally present. So each of the doors will need to be re-fitted and all the doorways made good. Just as a note, some of the doorstops may need to be changed. With a few holes being filled where the door closers were. I would expect a job to take two days for someone that knows what they’re doing. Price is for labour happy to pay for any materials required. You’re welcome to use either the hinges fitted to the doors or the hinges fitted to the fire doors. There’s approximately nine doors, see photo
