I’m looking for an experienced handyman or carpenter to hang one replacement internal door at my property in Chiswick, W4. The work required: Remove the existing door from its hinges. Hang and align the replacement door. Fit the hinges, handle and latch. Ensure the door opens, closes and latches correctly. Materials and tools: I will supply the replacement door and all required fittings, including hinges, handle and latch. You must bring your own tools and equipment. I will arrange removal and disposal of the old door. Budget and quotation: My budget is £120 for labour. Please only make an offer if you can complete the work within this budget. Please confirm your experience hanging internal doors, your availability, and whether any additional charges may apply before accepting the task. 3 doors to replace like for like (keeping existing frames and architraves) and 3 doors to create new openings for them first (2 to new plasterboard partitions + 1 cut an opening in a concrete block wall circa 8cm thick, confirmed to be non load bearing). I already have doors, hinges and handles.

Cheap, simple, unpainted, internal fire door to upstairs loft room. Now wont open or close, and is scraping hard against the floor. Hinges are not loose. Please could you make it open and close again (presumably by taking a small portion off the bottom of the door) and then clean up afterwards.

I need one internal door shortening. I got a new carpet recently and the door no longer clears the floor. It just needs a slight trim. The door has been removed so would want it then putting back on the hinges.

We require x5 internal doors to be trimmed from the bottom and any rough edges to be sanded down, for increased ventilation / air circulation. x2 bedrooms doors and x1 kitchen door by circa 12mm, x2 bathroom doors by circa 15mm.
