I live in a loft converted flat with plasterboard ceiling. I have a heavy (approx 8-12kg) chandelier I want to install but it’ll need to be fitted to joists/noggins behind the ceiling, and then the electrical wirings done too.

Brand new chandelier was fixed by electrician before just need to undo it and check the wiring is tight as it’s not turning on atm.

Looking for a general handyman / decorator to come around and fix a light fixture that now has a hole in it when a chandelier was recently fitted. It needs to be re-plastered to cover the gap and screw holes. However, there are also a number of other jobs I need doing around the house at a later date - i'm looking for a recurring handyman who can sort some small and larger jobs. The chandelier is not urgent, so if the job cannot be done tomorrow that is fine. It will be hung from a ceiling rose as shown in the photo. There is already a wire and dimmer set up. The chandelier is quite heavy so I imagine we will need to lift floorboards upstairs and either fix it to a joist or install a structural timber support. The ceiling is modern plasterboard. I can be flexible on fitting times as work from home.
