I have one manual roller shutter that is not working anymore. The handle has come off and it does not turn. House is single story. Shutters are built into the house. Please recommend whether it will be better to replace the shutters with electric shutters or repair the shutters. Attached are images.

Roller Shutter Supply and Install - Second Storey Addition Specific Job Details: I am building a second storey addition. Work commences 19 May. About 12 weeks into the build (approx July/August) I will be looking for install of roller shutters. I have attached some drawings. The windows I want roller shutters on are: 12.15 AAWN, 12.21 AAWN, 12.12 AAWN and 06.24 AAWN. Also, I would like a shutter on the sliding door 21.18 ASD. As they are awning windows and sliding door, they will need to be on wall mount (not recess mount). Colour is woodland grey. As part of the electrical plan I can arrange for power to be pre-wired to the window locations. Schedule: I’m flexible - approx 12 weeks into build (July/August)

I am having an issue with the roller shutter. The motor still sounds like it’s running when I press the switch. The light on the control/switch is on, so it seems like it’s still sending signals. However, the shutter itself won’t go up or down. It just stays in place. I am not sure if it’s stuck? The shutter doesn’t seem to be responding properly even though the motor appears to be active.
