Find a local Tasker to set up your router modem in NSW

We have just moved house and the Wifi is patchy. We have all the routers from our old house but need someone to set them up. We need wifi to work across the whole house. We also need our Sonos speakers set up with the TV and the TV working. (It’s already on the wall and set up, but it’s not working properly). Foxtel box too.

Moved into a small office in Cronulla. Previous tenant left a decommissioned comms rack with existing wall ports/cabling. I bought an Aussie Broadband NetComm modem/router with FTTN internet + 4G backup. The 4G backup works, but I can’t work out how the fixed internet line connects into the rack. Need someone to come inspect the rack and work out: * where the incoming phone/DSL/internet line is * whether it is already terminated in the rack * how to connect it to the Aussie modem * whether the office wall ports can be made live from the modem * what, if anything, is missing - switch, patch lead, socket, termination, etc. Not looking for a full network install. My NBN/Modem equipment are currently in the back room. For some reason it does not work every six months. Each time Telstra sends out a new modem. It has been like this for three times. Now we want to relocate the equipment to the front of the house. This is for better access to the equipment and better signal. Hopefully this will fix the on going issue we have.

I have no WiFi in the house. I have 3 Deco routers that are flashing blue that need pairing I think. WiFi went down last night.

We currently have a tp-link modem but wish to replace it with a ASUS ax5700 modem. We are having difficulties connecting the modem as it says it is powered and connected but it cannot find the internet.

I just moved into a new apartment and I'm trying to get my internet up and running. I've signed up with Superloop as my provider and bought a new modem, but I'm having trouble getting it set up properly. There's already an NBN box in the apartment. Once I finished setting up the modem, all the lights on the NBN box were on, which seemed fine — but on my modem, the power and WiFi lights are green while the internet light is showing orange.

Description: I need help setting up my HP Smart Tank 210–220 series printer to connect properly to my 5G Wi-Fi network. I’ve spent quite a bit of time trying to resolve this myself without success, so I’m looking for someone experienced with printer/network setup who can get it working reliably. Issues I’m having: • Printer will not connect properly to Wi-Fi • HP Smart app cannot find or complete setup (cannot find IP address) What I’ve already tried: • Split my Wi-Fi into 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks • Connected to 2.4GHz only • Reset printer network settings multiple times • Restarted modem and printer • Reinstalled HP Smart app • Attempted setup via both phone and Mac •

Have a working nbn wifi at home. Have a seperate home security modem. Need someone to connect both of them (? Online). The Ethernet cable system in the house is connected to the home security so although the wifi is working, Ethernet outlets are not

I’m looking for someone to assess and potentially relocate our internet modem from downstairs to upstairs, as our connection upstairs is currently very poor. Before moving anything, I’d like someone to assess whether relocating the modem will actually improve performance or recommend the best solution (e.g. new data point, cabling, or alternative setup).

I would like to run an ethernet cable from our modem to our bedroom as the connection is not strong enough. Ideally I would like the cable to go through the roof and on a plate in the bedroom wall. Single storey house. I attached floor plan for distances. I don't have a cable or a plate.

I am having a lot of trouble connecting my TP link modem router to my NBN connection. Looking for someone TODAY who knows NBN well, and can help figure out what is going on. Preferable if you can bring your own VDSL2 router as well to see if it’s my router. The router is connected via the DSL cable, and the sync light is on. I have confirmed this with Tangerine Telco and they said that the sync is all good on their side / that they can see the modem is connected. I am fairly techy and have tried alot of stuff from online forums but to no avail.

I need someone tech-savvy to come to my home and block YouTube at the router/network level (Optus modem). This is to prevent YouTube access on a smart TV and other devices. You must be able to: • Log into an Optus router • Set up DNS / network-level blocking (or VPN-based filtering if needed) • Test and confirm YouTube is fully blocked I’m not technical — I just want it done properly and permanently.

Install a new router, preferably someone who’s used ubiquiti in the past and knows how to connect the router to the app.
