Fix my MacBook Pro

$250

Schofields NSW, Australia

14th Jul 2024

It doesn’t switch on. Hasn’t for 6 months. It’s a 2021 model bought new from Apple in 2022. We bought it in 2022, Apple did one repair in December 2022, then around a year later it stopped working (not due to repair just that my child was using and maybe closed lid too hard or something not sure) I don’t want to pay $1000 to Apple to fix it. I am looking to pay no more than $300. Last repair cost me $1200 with Apple but they did it for free under warranty open to all offers from legitimate safe computer repairers. No scams please. 🙏🏻

Install software and games onto Macintosh SE bluescsi

$100

Cambridge Park NSW 2747, Australia

11th Jul 2024

I have the blue scsi or blue pill board to essentially jailbreak the Macintosh. It was working and I used to play games on it but one day I accidentally deleted everything off the sd card and now the whole process needs to be done again. As far as I'm aware there's no coding required and everything should be on github.com Experience with basilisk II or other similar emulator is recommended I have a list of games I'd like installed and most if not all of them can be found on Internet archive. Please feel free to send your offers

Hi there, I am no longer able to login to my computer since this morning. The password I’m using is correct so I believe that it must be a software issue.

OneDrive and mac

$100

Darlinghurst NSW, Australia

26th Jun 2024

I’ve bought a new Mac. These are the things I’d appreciate help with please. 1. I don’t want all the same stuff on the new mac as what is on old mac one drive. But it seems things have already moved over. 2. I’ve always found one drive confusing so think I want to start using Google docs and just use one drive for Outlook and when people send me Word Docs. 3. I don’t know how to save a word doc, then find it again in OneDrive cloud and attach to an email. Sometimes I find it and sometimes I don’t. Even though I’ve had one drive for years it’s still pot luck I find the doc 4. I’m creating presentations and videos. I need to setup folders for them on my new mac and in the cloud for backup 5. Someone put exchange on my phone. I don’t think I need it. There is an old email and I keep getting a notification on my mac for an exchange password for a redundant email Cheers for reading

Clean up HD storage Mac Pro move to other SSD

$120

Petersham NSW, Australia

6th Jun 2024

I have <4GB free on a 256GB Mac Pro that I 'inherited'. Runs veeeeery slow of course. Seems that iTunes and Photos automatically installed to the main hard drive and now I can't move them to the external SSDs I have. Tried a few times but keeps failing. Need diagnosis and fix so that files are moved and Mac Pro is usable.

Balaji did a fantastic job to clean up my old MacPro and get it operational again. I had been putting it off for months after failing myself a few times. So glad I got him to help out. Highly recommended. Will use Balaji when I have problems again.

Replace HDD drive in 2017 iMac

$250

Bilgola Plateau NSW, Australia

14th Mar 2024

I have a 2017 21.5 inch iMac 4k Retina Display. Has recently begun making clicking/knocking sounds and is very slow to start up. Is only used for the internet as a 2nd computer for studying. So don't need it to be high speed, just to function without the click. So not looking to put a SSD in a HDD will do just fine. It works totally fine including browsing but everything I have read says this is most likely a drive issue on its way out. Looking for someone who has done this many times before with iMac screen removal.

Michael was super friendly and efficient. Would highly recommend.
