I would like to repair a small timber door to fix the cracks and bubbling/rotting wood. It seems to need quite a bit done to it but unsure of the actual scope of the job. I've attached pictures for reference. I was unsure of cost so have put a very rough estimate. Happy to discuss cost.

Looking for someone to complete some minor maintenance work in our sauna: Lightly sand sauna benches and timber surfaces using 120–180 grit sandpaper. Wipe down all surfaces with a damp cloth afterwards to remove all sanding dust. Adjust 2 x sauna door closers so the doors close at the correct speed and operate smoothly. Check the door frames/closers and make any minor adjustments required. Requirements: Experience with basic timber maintenance and door closer adjustments. Must bring your own tools and sandpaper. Work must be completed neatly with all dust/debris cleaned up afterwards.

IKEA cabinet is too tall for space and we need to cut 5mm off. Circular saw required will need to bring with you

I have three internal doors that have recently been professionally painted — one laundry cupboard door and two standard-sized internal doors. Work required * One door: Shave/trim a few millimetres from the door edge so that it closes easily. The door previously had some damage which was professionally repaired and painted, but it now needs a small adjustment following the painting. * All three doors: I’d like to replace the existing metal hinges and door hardware/mechanisms to give the doors a newer, cleaner and more professional look and feel, particularly given they are in an older apartment. * No painting required. If any minor touch-ups are needed after the carpentry work, my painter has offered to take care of these separately. I’m looking for a quote to adjust the one door and replace the hinges/hardware on all three doors. Please see the photos for details. I need the base of a new dresser fixed, after it was damaged upon delivery

Two load-bearing corners of my wooden bed frame have separated. The side rail has pulled away from the adjoining frame in one, the other is loose and the existing screw holes/timber around the connection are damaged. I need an experienced furniture repairer, cabinetmaker or carpenter to: • properly realign and secure the corner; • repair or bypass the damaged screw holes; • reinforce the joint with a concealed hardwood block/cleat, suitable brackets and/or through-bolts as appropriate; • use structural fixings into sound timber—not simply reinstall screws into the existing holes; • inspect the other corners, slat supports and centre support and tighten/reinforce them if required; • leave the frame rigid, level and safe for normal use; • minimise visible changes … touch up with white finish not needed if reasonably neat job Please supply all tools, timber, fixings and glue. I need to fix up the top panels of my verandah fencing brought back to life. The panels have been exposed to the weather, so I guess they need a sand and revarnish to match colour of the rest of the fencing, which does not need anything done to it. I also need the two panels that have come loose to be nailed back in.

Replace timber panel and repair rotted timber on front fascia

I need a plywood panel cut to size to neatly cover the exposed section of floor shown in the photo. The existing white panel above the gap will be used for this. The surrounding timber flooring is not perfectly straight/square, so the panel needs to be carefully measured and cut to fit the actual shape of the opening with minimal gaps. There is also a cable coming up through the middle of the exposed area, so the panel will need a precisely positioned groove/channel or narrow cut-out to fit around the cable. Looking for someone experienced with accurate measuring and precision cutting/joinery who can achieve a clean, neat fit.

We've recently moved into a house where one section of wooden floorboards is coloured differently to the nearby sections. We would like that section of floor restained so that it better matches the rest of the house. We know it likely won't be possibly to perfectly match the colour - that's fine, we just want the difference to be less obvious. The area measures approximately 3.5m x 3.5m. We don't know what wood the floorboards are made of, nor what stains or products have been used. The house is from around 1900. We are seeking someone to: - Sand that area of floor back, - Stain the floorboards to better match the rest of the house, and - Apply a new topcoat. We will pay for the stain and top coat - but would appreciate your expertise to choose and purchase the right products to use, particularly to best match the colour. The house is currently empty so there's no furniture etc to work around. We will have some people painting the house at the same time but will make sure they are not in your way. I have a couple of shelves I need cut and installed under my two vanity’s and in laundry cupboard. Also might need some holes on one side of panel done for shelf. I have the shelves ready for cutting.

The van sustained damage on a recent holiday and I need help repairing it. A wood panel below the murphy bed has come out of alignment and is preventing the bed from folding down. I need someone with carpentry skills to help re-align the tongue and groove panel, and repair or sand back the damage to the wood above.

I have a 60mm diameter hole in a cabinet door (20mm thick) that I want to fill. I have a piece of particle board but I don’t have hole saw or jig saw to cut the piece to plug the hole.

I have a bathroom pocket/cavity sliding door that has come off its overhead track (see photos). I've tried to re-seat it myself without success. There's a wooden trim piece running along the side of the track mechanism that appears to be glued (not just screwed) to the door frame — I attempted to remove the screws but the trim won't budge, which is likely blocking access to the roller/track assembly. This might be a quick fix for someone experienced with sliding/cavity doors, but could also need a bit of carpentry work if the trim has to be carefully freed or replaced. Happy to increase the budget after an onsite look if more work is required. I’m after a cabinetmaker to build and install a simple cabinet shell and door that replaces an existing shoe unit in the recess behind my front door. What I need: It’s just the outer box (shell) and one full-height door. No internal shelves or anything. We aim to fit ikea wire baskets inside.
