Find experienced local carpenters in Marrickville

I need someone who can work with me in building out a study room desk. I want the desk top to be solid timber, preferably dense (like gum) and able to handle weight (3d printing machine, 2 desktop computers). I can source the timber with a bit of advice. I'm building this so myself and my wife can work from home together. The dimensions of the desk are around 2x1800mm by 850mm by 30-40mm. Or one single piece around 3600-3650mm long which I don't think is feasible. I have attached inspiration pics for colour of wood and vibe of the finished study space.

Timber door frame broken due to someone kicking in door. Looks like only one side of frame needs to be replaced. Door and lock not damaged.

I have a large number of Swarovski crystal figurines I would like displayed. We have a nook in our wall which would be perfect. Am looking for: One long shelf (and be broken in to small lengths), and enclosing it (from the top and front). Open to any creative ideas from someone with experience in this space. I need a Tasker to install two mirrored shaving cabinets in my apartment in Marrickville: 1) 1 x 60cm cabinet in an ensuite bathroom 2) 1 x 120cm cabinet in a main bathroom. Both cabinets will be replacing mirrors that are currently adhered to the wall tiles. These mirrors will also need to be removed by the Tasker without causing any tile damage. Cabinets are to be mounted on the tiles and the underlying wall is brick/masonry. See images of current bathroom mirrors, wall for the 120cm cabinet, and the cabinets to be installed.

1. Installation of kaboodle laundry cabinets (consisting of one set of cupboards and one set of shelves). These will be pre-assembled. 2. Installation of kaboodle benchtop, including panels and attaching to tiled floor. 3. Help to install washing machine and dryer under the new benchtop, including maybe needing to drill a hole in the benchtop for the washing machine drainpipes. In terms of access, we are on level 8 of an apartment building with lift access, no stairs.

Need a Carpenter to install timber slats on the face of the counter for my cafe. Happy to supply the timber or get a quote for supply and installation. Total area is about 7M Lx 800mm H. Need the corner of the front counter to change from square to round curve and have black kick board and the bottom. Job is to be done from 3pm onwards any day of the week is fine. Replace 4 timber slats on the roof of an outdoor veranda. Each of the wooden slats is approximately 1000 mm length, 20 mm thick, 45mm wide. Then reattach the existing plastic sheeting to the new slats. Please see photos. The plastic sheeting is currently being held down by bricks. It is the first four slats in the photo that need replacing.

Remove the current cabinets and bench top from the kitchen and replace with new ikea cabinets and timber bench top. All new stuff will be sourced by us. Dont need to worry about disposal. Includes 4 base cabinets (2.4m), timber bench top (3m) and 2 mounted wall cabinets. One of wall mounted cabinets holds range hood. Bench top extends over under-counter water heater. Doors and shelves removed already. Hoping to get done before 4th August.

Build the tray/drawer the bins will sit in, attach to sliders (I have these) and attach door that pulls the bin drawer out. My DIY attempts have failed! It won’t slide out smoothly. I think it would be fairly easy with the right tools and skills. No idea of price. Please feel free to ask questions or submit an offer. Thanks

We are looking for someone to remove this two door cabinet in our kitchen so we can get a dishwasher installed under the counter. We would like to keep the green kickboard at the bottom if possible so we can reinstall it once the dishwasher is in. The counter top may need to be removed to get the cabinet out, or at least supported so it doesn't crack. It would be ideal if rubbish can be disposed of off site but can negotiate. Thanks!

Please help me remove this carpet stain! I had an inside plant that I’ve moved and it’s left this mark. I’ve tried a stain remover and it’s lifting but I’m renting and don’t want to lose my rental bond!!!

This kitchen bench made of wood from Bunnings needs to be cut down one side so it is 100 cm long. Right now I think it’s 120.

Hi, I need a skilled carpenter to build a ramp which would sit on 2 steps inside our house. See attached photo. The width is approx 88cm, and the steps are approx 13cm (each) high. This is not for a wheelchair, it’s for our dogs which have back issues, but my husband and I (he’s 100kg) needs to be able to walk on it too. The gradient would probably mean the ramp is around 80cm long. I’m looking for one singular piece, which is staggered to cover both steps. The ramp needs to be non slip and have non slip base. I don’t want it to be permanently fixed though (able to move for cleaning ect), but when in place, for it not to move. If you’re up for the task it would be great if you could come and measure etc first. Thanks!
