Hello, We are looking for a skilled handyman or carpenter to repair a broken drawer in a custom retail counter at our store, in Wollongong Central. The Issue: An internal divider in one of our main counter drawers has broken. This has exposed a sharp, splintered wooden edge, creating a safety hazard for our staff who need to access the drawer regularly. The damage was caused by the drawer being overfilled. The Job: The task is to repair the drawer divider to make it safe and functional again. The scope of work will involve: 1. Assessing the broken divider within the drawer. 2. Repairing the existing piece cutting and fitting a new piece of thin board to replace the damaged section. 3. Ensuring the repaired divider is strong, smooth, and free of any sharp edges or splinters. 4. Making sure the final repair is neat and tidy.
