Hi, I’m looking for someone experienced in marble/stone benchtop repairs. There are some yellow stains on the marble benchtop, as shown in the attached photo. It appears that the surface protective film/coating may have been stained or discoloured rather than just having normal surface marks. I’m looking for someone who can inspect the benchtop and advise whether: the stained surface layer can be removed, repaired or recoated; or the affected section / entire benchtop needs to be replaced. Ideally, we would prefer to repair or restore the existing benchtop if possible. Please let me know your experience with this type of repair and your estimated cost. The van sustained damage on a recent holiday and I need help repairing it. A wood panel below the murphy bed has come out of alignment and is preventing the bed from folding down. I need someone with carpentry skills to help re-align the tongue and groove panel, and repair or sand back the damage to the wood above.

I have a 60mm diameter hole in a cabinet door (20mm thick) that I want to fill. I have a piece of particle board but I don’t have hole saw or jig saw to cut the piece to plug the hole.

I have a bathroom pocket/cavity sliding door that has come off its overhead track (see photos). I've tried to re-seat it myself without success. There's a wooden trim piece running along the side of the track mechanism that appears to be glued (not just screwed) to the door frame — I attempted to remove the screws but the trim won't budge, which is likely blocking access to the roller/track assembly. This might be a quick fix for someone experienced with sliding/cavity doors, but could also need a bit of carpentry work if the trim has to be carefully freed or replaced. Happy to increase the budget after an onsite look if more work is required. I’m after a cabinetmaker to build and install a simple cabinet shell and door that replaces an existing shoe unit in the recess behind my front door. What I need: It’s just the outer box (shell) and one full-height door. No internal shelves or anything. We aim to fit ikea wire baskets inside. Key details: • External size: 1600 H x 620 W x 195-200 D mm • No back panel, fixes to the existing wall • Single full-height door, hinged on the lef • White matte flat panel finish to match my kitchen, ideally handleless or push to open • Internal clear width needs to be about 588 mm (so a 16 mm carcass works) A full spec with dimensions, drawings and site photos is attached as a PDF, so please have a look before quoting.
